We run a last resort facility, SW FL Rescue, DBA: Horse Crossing Rescue/Sanctuary. www.horsecrossingrescue.com Basically, it is a sanctuary for Mustangs and other badly abused horses. 85% of what we do, is groundwork, play and interaction. We teach people the horses' language and how it is about the horse, instead of the human.
Being about the horse is where Hoofjack comes in. We have had our Hoofjack for about two years, now. From the horse it took over a year to be able to halter and brush, to the ones born on the property, Hoofjack has kept us safe and kept the horses comfortable. There were many times when we would have been thrown into next week without Hoofjack. The video that came with it was informative and helpful.
The ease in which you are able to adjust the stand, the lightness of it and how well it has stood the 'test of time' has us highly recommending it. We take it to different fields, pass it around; many people use it, from the experienced to the 'newbies'. Before Hoofjack, I had tried several other stands and found them heavy, hard to adjust, and I hated having to trim hoofs. I turn 60 this year and at 5'2, 115, am able to do a barefoot trim on all the horses with the help of Hoofjack. Thank you.
